Description
Golden Aspens Standing guard is an acrylic painting, with Metal leaf accents and lots of texture. Inspired by trees I saw on my way up to Sun Peaks, these trees spoke to the nature of guarding our forests from wild fires. Unfortunately they have been destroyed in many areas leaving our forests open to wild fire. Kamloops is a very windy area and I have portrayed the wind through the branches in this original painting.
This painting is textured, using acrylic gel and also metal leaf flakes that give it a unique look, that changes in the light.
